SEMEN ORDERING INFORMATION

1.  The stallion breeding manager is Ronny Stallings.  Orders for cooled semen must be received by Michelle Stallings no later than 9 am Central Standard Time on the regularly scheduled collection days of Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  

2.  Cooled semen will not be shipped before February 1st.  

3.  While the first shipment of cooled semen is prepaid by Federal Express Overnight any additional request for semen must be prepaid prior to shipment in U. S. Dollars.  

4.  We suggest requesting semen at least 24 hours in advance if possible as orders are filled on an “as available” basis in the order they are received.

5.  The mare owner will receive a confirmation of their order by return fax or e-mail.  It is the mare owner’s responsibility to contact the stallion breeding manager if they do not receive a confirmation.  No confirmation means that we have not received the order.  

6.  Unless alternative arrangements are made 48 hours in advance, cooled semen is shipped by Federal Express Overnight services in regular disposable containers so there is no deposit due on the shipping container.  A special shipping container may be purchased by the mare owner that is rated to keep semen cooled longer to accommodate Sunday or Monday morning inseminations.

7.  Requests for frozen semen must be made through Select Breeders Southwest Inc., in Aubrey, Texas and are subject to additional fees for special shipping and handling .

8.  The first shipment of cooled semen is free for a paid breeding.  Charges for additional orders of semen, rebreeds and futurity breedings are listed below.  All fees and delivery times are subject to change based on Federal Express rates, schedules and availability.
