Meet the Appraisers

Welcome to American Equine Appraiser's.
Ronny & Michelle Stallings

Professional Appraisals from Professional Horsemen

The Stallings have been evaluating and appraising horses for over twenty-five years as successful equine professionals.  Their expertise in evaluating the horse's conformation, highest and best use, and fair market value comes from over thirty years of experience in the equine industry as top trainers, showmen and breeders. The Stallings are both certified as equine appraisers by the American Society of Agricultural Appraisers (ASAA) and are members of the American Society of Equine Appraisers (ASEA).  The ASAA is the only society in the country, at this time, whose courses are approved by AQB, the Appraisal Qualifications Board.  This Board operates under the Appraisal Foundation that was mandated and approved by Congress to develop standards governing all of the real and personal property appraisal industry.

ASAA certification means that the Stallings have successfully completed a Principles of Valuation course that is approved by *USPAP and have passed their equine specialty examinations.  The Stallings feel they are qualified to appraise any type of horse, regardless of breed or discipline.  Equine valuation is based on a quantitative and qualitative formula that compares and equalizes all breeds with a formative mathematical set of criteria.

Ronny Stallings
CERTIFIED EQUINE APPRAISER

Ronny was born near Aubrey, Texas where his family has raised cattle, farmed and bred horses since the early 1800's.  Ronny has devoted his entire life to the equine industry.  He served for nearly 20 years as a National Director for the American Paint Horse Association and completed two terms as President of the Texas Paint Horse Club and as President of the state-wide Texas State Coordinating Committee.  Ronny has successfully trained, shown and bred World Champion horses since 1967.  He is one of the top APHA (American Paint Horse Association) trainers in the nation, specializing in halter, pleasure, trail and all-around performance events for open, youth and amateur exhibitors.  It would be nearly impossible to list all of the horses Ronny has trained and shown to Championship titles and awards, but his accomplishments are well known in the industry and he has been featured in all of the top equine publications in the United States, like the well known HORSEMAN MAGAZINE cover he graced, shown here.

Michelle A. Stallings
