Ronny was born and raised near Aubrey, Texas where his family has raised cattle, farmed and bred horses since the early 1800's. Ronny has devoted all of his life to the equine industry. He served as a National Director for the American Paint Horse Association for nearly 20 years and completed two terms as President of the Texas Paint Horse Club. He also served as President of the Texas State Coordinating Committee.
Ronny has successfully trained, shown and bred World Champion horses
for the public since 1967. He is one of the top APHA trainers in the nation who specializes in halter, pleasure, trail and all-around performance events for open, youth and amateur exhibitors. It would be nearly impossible to list all of the horses Ronny has trained and shown to Championship titles and awards, but his accomplishments are well known in the industry and he has been featured in all of the top equine publications in the United States, like HORSEMAN MAGAZINE.
Michelle Stallings
was born in Ontario, Canada. She moved to Texas in 1973 has worked behind the scenes in the Texas Paint Horse Club since 1979, serving as treasurer and publishing the club's newsletter and handbook. Michelle chaired the APHA Progress Committee as a National Director for several years, served on the APHA Rules Committee and Ways and Means Committees. She shows horses sporadically these days and helps Ronny run the breeding operation. The rest of her time is devoted to their equine appraisal
business and to preparing income taxes for clients who appreciate her expertise in the area of horse farms, partnerships, sole proprietorships and small corporations. Michelle has stood stallions and exported horses to Europe, Mexico and Brazil since 1973. Her venture into exporting frozen semen to Australia, and insistence on DNA testing led to the initiation of many new regulations and the foaling of several top Australian National Champions.
Ronny and Michelle have two wonderful teenagers named Kimberley
and Wesley, several colorful champion stallions, a small herd of mares, a large herd of cats, two scurvy mutts, a goat that wandered in, a mammoth donkey who helps halter break the foals and a big lovable shaggy Irish Wolfhound. The Stallings enjoy helping a fellow Paint enthusiast, using their combined years of experience and expertise in the equine industry. Drop them an e-mail and get acquainted. You'll be glad you did!
Established in 1967, Stallings Paint horses
is a full service equine facility. Training, showing, breeding and selling horses is their one and only business. Helping client's attain their goals and fulfill their dreams, is an enjoyable sideline. The Stallings offer a free evaluation and analysis of your horse, lessons, advice and assistance. Most clients keep their show horses and brood mares at the ranch on a year-round basis, due to their busy personal schedules. Many clients bring their horses in for regular "tune-ups"
and throughout the year, or leave their mares to be bred.
The Ranch is located 45 minutes north of the Dallas Fort Worth
International Airport, just east of Denton, Texas in Aubrey. The Stallings
have a nice selection of youth and amateur horses for sale from some of the top
stallions in the industry, and welcome the opportunity to help you set up, or
